Tie Break Tens open tennis competition

Tie Break Tens open tennis competition entries are being accepted now. Just £5 per player entry fee.
The competition is open to all players, but you will need to be comfortable serving and rallying.
It will take place on Monday 8th May. Players to arrive and register by 12.45pm for a 1.30pm start.

Rules: doubles team tie break following normal tie break rules (first player serves once from deuce side then following players serve twice serving from advantage side first). The first team to reach 10 points wins the match.

Points are added up for each player's matches then in subsequent matches highest scoring players are partnered with lowest scoring players.

Players should wear suitable footwear for either hard court or grass court. A racket would be useful although the club can lend you one.

At 3pm (or thereabouts) the 2 highest scoring players will play a singles tie break with the first to 10 points (& 2 clear) winning the competition.

This event is part of Driffield Lawn Tennis Clubs' Open day celebration to mark the coronation of King Charles. If you wish to spend what we hope will be a really fun day with us you are most welcome. Juniors and parents from 10.30am Adults from 12.30am
